"Bouter les Anglais" is Berty's latest film project.

It is filmed in French, and was shot in London between July 2023 and July 2024. Bouter les Anglais is an absurd mix of thriller and comedy.
​
It features the polite and educated community of French expats in London, playing a secret war to eradicate all English people. "It's a tradition" they claim, without a shed of compassion for the Brits.
​
"Bouter" is playing on the ancient rivalry between the French and the English, the actors are French but the sense of humour is British.

Berty was born in Paris, and later acquired Australian and English citizenships.
​
His passion for storytelling and image led him to a number of artistic practices, from photography to stand-up comedy, from writing and directing for theatre to writing and directing for film.
​
He learnt screenwriting and acting at NIDA in Sydney, Producing for film at AFTRS, and film directing during short courses at Raindance in London.
​
His style combines suspense and humour, with a taste for absurd comedy inspired by British dark humour.

"Tide" was shot in the bay of Mont Saint-Michel, where treacherous tides and the quicksand catch visitors by surprise every year.

A group of four British friends decide to walk the 6km distance between the shore and the Mont by themselves. They will realise that the elements are not the only dangers they will face.
​
Represented by "The Coven", Tide is available on selected platforms. It was released in 25 cinemas in Asia in 2024.

"Cuisine Diplomatique" - Play - comedy - 2015
This play created by Berty Cadilhac won the SACD prize for best comedy in Avignon festival OFF in 2016.
It was played 125 times, and published by Edition Arts & Comédie.
